Problem. A settings write reached the store but failed. Cause.
A constraint violation, IO error, or transaction failure inside the
configuration store. The fields.field value identifies which setting
was being written. Fix. Retry shortly; if the failure persists
inspect operator logs for the underlying error. HTTP 500.
